आज अपनी बात कहने के लिए मैंने ,कुछ दिन पहले किए गए एक छोटे से सफर में घटित प्रसंग को लिया है।वाकया कुछ यूं कि एक बड़े पर्व के दौरान में ट्रेन से यात्रा कर रही थी। त्योहारी भीड़ की वजह से बोगी पोर पोर मुसाफिरों से अटी थी।जितने लोग अपनी आरक्षित सीटों पर बैठे थे उससे कहीं ज्यादा लोग सीटों की दोनों कतारों के बीच खाली जगह पर खड़े हुए थे । प्रसाधन स्थल के बाहर और ट्रेन के दरवाजों पर भी लोगों का जमावड़ा था। खड़े हुए मुसाफिरों का अपनी जगह से टस से मस होना भी दूभर हो रहा था। किसी स्टेशन पर ट्रेन के रुकते ही, अपनी खिड़की वाली सीट से मेरी नजर पड़ी प्लेटफॉर्म की भारी त्यौहारी भीड़ में शामिल,पापकार्न का एक बहुत बड़ा, लगभग छलक पड़ने को आतुर झोला दोनों हाथों में थामे एक किशोर और चना मसाला का बड़ा सा टोकरा एक डोरी के सहारे गर्दन पर लटकाए हुए एक अधेड़ फेरीवाले पर ।गेट पर चढ़ने उतरने वाले यात्रियों के रेले के बीच दोनों कहीं खो गए।वैसे भी मेरा अनुमान था कि आज की बेशुमार भीड़ भाड़ को देखकर ये दोनों फेरीवाले या तो वापिस चले जायेंगे या फिर किसी दूसरी बोगी या दूसरी ट्रेन में चढ़ने का प्रयास करेंगे। कुछ पलों में ही ट्रेन चल पड़ी। पर लगभग आधे घण्टे बाद मेरे अचरज का ठिकाना नही रहा जब मैंने देखा कि अपनी चलित दुकान से लदे फदे दोनों जोशीले हॉकर आगे पीछे चलते हुए,ढेरों मुसाफिरों की भीड़ के बीच मीठी विनती भरे स्वर में " ओ बाबूजी जरा खिसक जाइए।" "निकलने दीजिए न दीदी" की मनुहार करते हुए उक्त भीड़ को लगभग ठेलते हुए अपनी दुकानदारी को बखूबी अंजाम देते हुए आगे बढ़ रहे थे।
तारीफ की बात यह भी उनके चेहरे पर रोष ,तकलीफ या झुंझलाहट की रेखाओं की बजाय सहजता भरी मुस्कान ही पसरी थी । कुछ देर बाद मुसाफिरों की भारी भीड़ में वे फिर एक बार गुम हो गए पर अपने पीछे कुछ उम्मीद भरे जीवन सूत्र छोड़ गए। राह चलते मिले इन दोनों मेहनतकश गुरुओं से उस रोज जिंदगी के जो सबक मिले उन्हें सिलसिलेवार आपके साथ बांट रही हूँ-
जिंदगी कोई सीधी लकीर नही है कि यूँ दौड़े और पार हो गए बल्कि अक्सर बाधा दौड़ की तरह संघर्ष करके अपना मुकाम पाना होता है है।जब तक जिंदगी है तब तक चुनौतियां हैं।इन मेहनतकश फेरीवालों के लिए रोजाना दाल रोटी का इंतजाम करना भी एक बड़ी चुनौती ही है । निश्चित तौर से हर सुबह इस भारी लक्ष्य को साधने का संकल्प उनके दिमाग में जन्म लेता होगा।जिसे आज की विपरीत परिस्थितियों में भी उन्होंने पूरे आत्मविश्वास,विनम्रता और धीरज के साथ पूरा किया।
कई बार एकबारगी ऐसा लगता है कि इफरात भीड़ और घोर प्रतिस्पर्धा के बीचआगे बढ़ने की कोई गुंजाइश नहीं है,सफर तय कर पाना आसान नहीं है पर रेले को देखकर भाग खड़े होने की बजाय एक बार साहस जुटाकर चलना शुरू कर दिया जाए तो बहुत सुभीते का सफर भले ही न हो पर कुछ बाधाओं ,मुश्किलों और अप्रत्याशित स्थितियों को पार करते हुए आप मंजिल तक पहुंच ही जाएंगे।
संभव है कि ये फेरीवाले भी मुसाफिरों के हुजूम ,धक्कामुक्की और लोगों की झिड़कियों से घबराकर, कई बार अपना समान समेटकर निराशा के साथ वापिस लौट गए होंगे पर बार बार मिली ऐसी असफलताओं को चुनौती स्वरूप स्वीकार करते करतेअब वे सिद्धहस्त हो चुके है और उनकी देहभाषा बता रही थी कि ऐसी बाजीगरी अब उनके बाएं हाथ का खेल हो गई है।
दूसरे मुसाफिरों की तरह इन फेरीवालों को सिर्फ बोगी में घुसकर कम से कम खड़े होने लायक जगह बनाना ही जंग जीतने जैसा नहीं है बल्कि चना चबैना के भारी टोकरों के साथ बेशुमार भीड़ के बीच अमूमन हर एक मुसाफिर तक पहुंच बनाकर अपनी दुकानदारी भी चलाना है और इस विक्रय की इस कला को वे पूरी शिद्दत से अंजाम भी दे रहे थे।
उस रोज मिले इन्ही जीवन सूत्रों के मंथन के संग मेरा वह सफ़र पूरा हुआ।
