आज विश्व साइकिल दिवस है और आज के आलेख का शीर्षक,अस्सी -नब्बे के दशक की एक मशहूर साइकिल कंपनी के टेलीविज़न और अखबारों में छाए एक विज्ञापन के जिंगल से उठाया है।वह कालखंड साइकिल का स्वर्णिम कालखंड रहा है। उस दौर के कई मशहूर मॉडल और नामी गिरामी हस्तियाँ साइकिल कंपनियों के विज्ञापन के साथ टेलीविज़न के पर्दे और अख़बारों के मुखपृष्ठ पर प्रकट होती थीं। याद तो कीजिए उन सुनहरे दिनों को जब बड़े लोगों को फर्राटे से साइकिल चलाते देखकर आपका बालसुलभ मन अचरज और खुशी से भर जाता था। बड़े ही कमाल की चीज लगती थी साइकिल और उसे चलाते हुए लोग। आँखों में साईकिल से फर्राटा भरने और हवा से बतियाने का चमकता ख़्वाब समेटे हुए हम घर आंगन ,स्कूल या हाट बाजारों में खड़ी साइकिल के पुर्जे पुर्जे को ललक और कौतुहल के साथ घंटों छू छूकर देखते और फिर साइकिलिंग का हुनर हासिल होते ही हम, आज मैं आगे जमाना है पीछे ........... की तर्ज पर विश्व विजेता की तरह लहराते इतराते हुए शान बघारते फिरते थे।उन दिनों साइकिल के भी कई स्टंट युवाओं में लोकप्रिय हुआ करते थे। अमूमन हम सबके 'बसपन का प्यार' रही है,यह शान की सवारी और हमारे दिलो दिमाग में रची -बसी यादों की खूबसूरत बस्ती की एक आंकी बांकी पगडंडी साइकिल-प्रेम से रोशन है।
जिंदगी एक पाठशाला ही तो जनाब .......गर सीखने का जज्बा हो तो हमारे आसपास मौजूद और रोजमर्रा की जिंदगी से ताल्लुक रखने वाली हर चीज, जिंदगी के तमाम फलसफे,ढेरों सबक और इफरात सलीके सिखाने का हुनर रखती है। अपने बचपन का पन्ना तो पलटकर देखिये आज भले ही साईकिल आपकी यादों का हिस्सा हो पर कभी आपके ख्वाबों में अक्सर तशरीफ़ लाने वाली साइकिल ने जिंदगी के कितने कुछ पाठ पढ़ाए है आज विश्व साइकिल दिवस पर यादों की पिटारी को खँगालकर उन पर पर बात करते हैं-
पहला पाठ जो साइकिल ने बखूबी पढाया वह है गिरकर उठने का पाठ । जरा याद तो कीजिए जब पहले पहल आपने साइकिल चलाना सीखा था ,आप बारम्बार धड़ाम धड़ाम गिरते और धूल झाड़कर फिर खड़े हो जाते।छोटी बड़ी खरोचें भी आती रहती थीं पर फर्राटेदार साइकिल चलाने का जज्बा जस का तस रहता।छोटी मोटी खरोचों की अनदेखी और बड़ी पर मरहम पट्टी करके आप फिर मैदान में आ जाते और और फिर कई बार गिरते पड़ते हुए अंततः यह हुनर हासिल हो ही जाता था।बार बार गिर कर उठने और फिर एक दिन पारंगत हो जाने पर शिक्षा यह मिली कि सफल होने के पहले आपको कई बार असफलता का सामना करना पड़ेगा पर इनसे डरने की बजाय उत्साह और हौसले के साथ डटे रहेंगे तो एक दिन विजेता बन ही जाएंगे।
